Who am I - Quién Soy

This design research project explores how self-knowledge shapes personal identity, focusing on young adults facing crucial decisions about their future. Drawing on insights from neuroscience, the project recognizes that decisions shape experiences, which in turn form beliefs that ultimately influence our actions and sense of self.

Modeling - Research - Neuoroscience

The "Quién Soy" project was conceived to provide a supportive environment for young adults exploring self-discovery and identity. One of the primary challenges was translating the abstract concepts of personal growth into a functional and engaging physical space. To address this, I designed a circular layout that facilitated both individual introspection and collaborative engagement. By creating distinct areas for personal reflection and group activities, the design allowed users to choose their journey while fostering a sense of community.

Solution

Integrating multidisciplinary content from areas such as neuroscience, psychology, and art presented another significant challenge. Through extensive research, I harmonized various themes into a cohesive narrative that informed both the spatial design and programming. Balancing ambitious design aspirations with budgetary constraints required strategic material selection and creative funding solutions.

User-Centered Design

The project prioritized understanding the target audience's needs and aspirations, leveraging research methods like interviews, surveys, and participant observation to inform design choices.

Visual Communication

The project employed a visual language that aimed to be both engaging and meaningful, drawing on elements like architecture, art, and storytelling to create a cohesive and impactful experience.

Graphic Design

The project required the creation of various visual elements, such as branding materials, infographics, marketing materials, and even the design of the physical space itself. This showcases expertise in visual hierarchy, typography, and color theory.
